Our Story

Why target the music industry?

​

Hugo: "Before diving into tech and becoming an entrepreneur, I was fortunate enough to make a living from my music for five years. It was a dream come true; I traveled extensively, explored different scenes and audiences—an enriching experience that I draw upon every day, even in my role as an entrepreneur."

 

Greg: "I also have a deep passion for music. I was classically trained in vocal music, and then piano and guitar. This shared passion is what initially brought me together with Hugo when he was looking for a designer to shape the image of a new artistic project. We clicked immediately."

 

Hugo: "Exactly! And it didn't take long for us to want to take things further and build something together."

 

Greg: "Right, we wanted to merge music and technology, our two passions, into a project that would have a positive impact on artists."

 

Hugo: "We are aware of the challenges that singers and musicians face today in making their mark, and we were driven to change that."

 

Hugo & Greg: "And that's how Kowl was born!"

What does Kowl offer to artists?

Hugo: "Kowl acts like a pocket manager, constantly accessible, accompanying you everywhere and at any time."

 

Greg: "It analyzes the artist from various angles to define the best strategy to effectively reach their audience."

 

Hugo: "Our tool creates a personalized roadmap with daily tasks to be accomplished, helping artists achieve the goals they have set for themselves."

 

Greg: "Thanks to our continuously improving AI, our users can work on new tracks, their brand image, and other crucial aspects of their artistic career."

 

Hugo: "The main goal is to build and develop an engaged fanbase, avoiding a focus solely on metrics like the number of streams or views."

 

Greg: "We've also created a community. Kowl is a platform where passion and professionalism meet, allowing for fruitful exchanges among users."

 

Hugo: "Kowl is also a professional social network that facilitates global connections between artists, encouraging collaborations and providing a showcase for emerging talents."

 

Greg: "It's a complete career management tool, providing detailed analytics to better understand who your target audience is and where they are located."

What is the Kowl method?

Hugo: "The game has fundamentally changed. Paradoxically, while it has never been easier to produce music, it has become extremely difficult to emerge in this environment."

 

Greg: "Mainly, the overabundance of tracks and changes in the way music is consumed have exacerbated the situation. Artists find themselves drowning in an ocean of content."

 

Hugo: "Priorities have shifted; before, the major goal was to sign with a record label. Today, artists need to take charge of their own promotion and reach out to their audience."

 

Greg: "Our approach is straightforward: every artist has an audience, and we provide the tools to find it. We help artists tailor their strategy to reach those who will be most receptive to their music."

 

Hugo: "Absolutely. Our uniqueness lies in the use of artificial intelligence and data. We are the first to offer an artist promotion model that is fully based on the major technological innovations of recent years."

 

Greg: "Our primary goal is to enrich our artists' fanbase. We don't promise a magic formula for going viral, but we offer tools for artists to sustainably live off their art."

Does Kowl only cater to artists?

Hugo: "Not exclusively. In the spirit of creating a community, we wanted Kowl to be accessible to all music enthusiasts, and that too for free."

 

Greg: "Exactly, even if you're not a music producer, you can download the app to discover new talents. Additionally, thanks to our internal messaging system, you can even directly interact with them."

 

Hugo: "For them, we are preparing a Pro version, which will allow managing multiple artist accounts simultaneously. This feature is ideal for labels and agencies looking to optimize their management."

 

Greg: "And to enhance this functionality, we've also developed a desktop version. It's specifically designed to facilitate the display and management of multiple accounts."

 

Hugo: "In summary, Kowl is an application designed for enthusiasts, artists, and professionals in the music industry, with each finding tools tailored to their needs."

What's next for Kowl?

Greg: "Our goal is for Kowl to support artists at every stage of their development. We have already established solid foundations in global promotion and artist networking, but we have ambitious plans for the future."

 

Hugo: "Indeed, we want to go even further. We plan to launch a Kowl label, which will be specially designed to assist artists who do not yet have access to broadcasting platforms to start their professional careers."

 

Greg: "Our vision is to make Kowl the essential tool for all artists who want to make a living from their music. We aim to provide comprehensive support, covering all facets of an artistic career, from initial development to professional management and beyond."
